I don't know if they thought that far, but I suspect it would create a paradox loop so that she would have never had the mirror in the first place and couldn't go back in time to break it...

The ending was a little confusing but I think the FL was the empress in the past life so the ml ask the mirror to send back the empress to him. In the last scene it seem both the ml and FL realize the FL is infact the empress reborn.

ya but i hope ML loved FL before knowing she is former empress otherwise wouldn't the person he love be someone else? like even if it was her past life. she can't be said to be the same person as once's memories and experience makes them the person they are (just my opinion)

I know the feeling, I’ve found a little trick to still see the vid without those pop-ups. I just put my thump on the video and go down a little bit (not whole screen showing) just a little, with the thump down and I can continue watch the last minute.

I'm only 8 mins in and I woulda told that ghost the only thing I could do for her is send a letter to her descendants to look under the 3rd step on the right side of the back porch for the treasure map and then after bury that mirror like Jumanji.

@maureenkam9212 There's a huge plot hole there..if the FL was the empress, then what happened to the 2FL who killed her and took her place? The 2FL didn't die and get reborn like FL. If she's doing it for the 2nd time, doesn't she find it strange that the same woman whom she killed after misusing her body, is still alive? Besides they don't even look alike to pass off as each other!
